5.1) The ActiveCampaign cookie

When you voluntarily send us your personal information, thereby indicating that you want to receive more information with free content about trends and/or commercial offers and that we may use your data to do this, you give us permission to track your behaviour on our website and to follow, record, and link to your personal data via the ActiveCampaign tracking cookie. This enables us to send you relevant content and/or commercial offers based on your behaviour on our website. The ActiveCampaign tracking cookie changes from a cookie that collects anonymous data to a cookie that collects personal data for marketing purposes.

  1. Transfer of your information

Your information may be transferred, stored, and processed in countries other than your own. Please be aware that your information may be transferred, stored, and processed by us in our facilities and by the third parties we share your information with, as explained in section 4 and 5. We take the protection of your data very seriously and have implemented appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorised changes. However, we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100 per cent secure, and even though we will try our best to protect your information, the transmission of personal data to and from our website is at your own risk. Therefore, you should only access our website within a secure environment.

  1. Collecting information from minors

Trendforce.One does not knowingly market to or collect data from children under the age of 18. By using our website, you are indicating that you are at least 18 or that you are a guardian or parent of a minor who has your permission to use our website. If we discover that we have collected personal information from a user under the age of 18, we will delete their account and take action to delete their data. If you believe we have collected personal information from a minor without permission, please contact us at richard@trendforce.one and we will take steps to remove it.

TrendForce.One does not use automated processing, such as computer programs or systems, to make decisions about matters that can have a significant impact on people.

When you use our website, we collect information about you. With regards to this information, you can:

  • Delete your information: You may ask us to delete some or all of your information.
  • Change or correct your information:  You may request that we change, update, or fix your information.
  • Restrict, limit, or object to use of your information: You may request that we stop using some or all of your personal information.
  • Right to access and/or take your information: You may ask for a copy of your personal information.

You can send a request for any of the abovementioned actions to richard@trendforce.one. If you decide to do so, we may ask you to email a scanned copy of your passport as proof of identity. Please remember to make your passport photo, the characters inside the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) at the bottom of the passport, the passport number, and your personal identification number black. These steps will protect your privacy. Once we receive proof of identification, we will respond within four weeks.

  1. Privacy rights of California residents

Users who are residents of California may request and obtain, at no cost and once a year, information about the categories of personal information we have shared with third parties for the purposes of direct marketing, as well as the names and addresses of all third parties with which we have shared personal information in the previous calendar year. To make a request, please email richard@trendforce.one.

We may update this policy as needed. We will indicate the updated version with a revised date, and the updated policy will be effective immediately. If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you by email or by posting a clearly visible notice on our website.
